We've had several visits here over the past two years including a puppy with parvovirus, older dog with injuries, shots, and boarding. We're always pleasantly greeted and have always been helped with sincere interest by the professional and courteous staff.
Today is day 5 post op. The surgical glue/silver mix flaked off and when it came out (which I'm assuming was way too early) her incision split open. I took her into another vet and they were sour faced about how her incision looked. They gave her antibiotics and said to watch it. when I got home from work I realized it was bleeding. Needless to say, $200, another sedation, 3 hours later my puppy is finally SUTURED up and on her way to recovery.
My name is Freddy Quesada and I took my beautiful, sweet and affectionate baby girl Keera to this Clinic for a simple Spay procedure on 9-12-17 and she died on 9-14-17. She was perfectly healthy and strong when we took her in and they killed her!!! There are no words to explain the grief and pain this sitution has caused all of us. If you truly love your pet I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU BRING THEM HERE!!
When I got her, they handed her to me and I realized she had silver all over her belly. I know it's supposed to be an antibiotic mix but having it all over the place? Her incision was put together unevenly... and then I got to my car and realized she had dry feces all over her butt! You keep them overnight..for no valid reason.. you could at least have someone there to let them out to use the bathroom, and if they have an accident, CLEAN THEM! I got home and realized they had charged me $12 for a nail trim but didn't even trim her nails. Although the reimbursed me, it makes me wonder if they remembered to give her the $35 pain shot I signed for.
Terry County Vet is the BEST ! I can always trust that my animals are well taken care of. The staff is always so sweet and caring. Even though they stay booked they always find a way to squeeze my animals in. The techs there do a wonderful job on making sure my animals are clean and well taken care of.
Hey take care of my ponies
Maybe they're better with farm animals... but dogs? In my one time experience, my dog and I did not have a pleasant experience. Firstly, why do they keep the dog the night before surgery if they're not doing blood work? I took my dog in at 4pm the day before surgery. She hadn't eaten since 4am and I asked if they could feed her (even brought her food) and I was told they were not allowed to eat. WHY?!? It's understandable to not have them eat past 10pm but at 4? When it's been 12 hours since they last ate and then I pick her up at 4pm the next day and they said not to feed her until the next morning. That's 36 hours without food... an 8lbs dog who could have blood sugar problems. I thought when I got her she was crying because of pain... no. She was so hungry. I fed her a tiny bit of chicken and rice that I made and she was content afterward.
Oh, and you might want to get another phone line if the line is going to remain busy 98% of the day.
